Five answers that decide it

All five come from the public records, without a single paper from the seller.

1What is actually being sold. The company itself, or only the business. The report names which, and what comes to you with it: staff, the seller's taxes, the lease, licences.
2Whether you are allowed to own it. In some places the right to trade is attached to a person with a diploma, not to the premises: a pharmacy to the pharmacist, a clinic to the doctor. A deal like that breaks before your first euro of revenue.
3What transfers to you by law. Some of the seller's debts can still follow the business: what the staff are owed and, in some countries, part of the seller's taxes. How long the staff have worked carries over too, and a contract with the seller does not cancel what they are owed. We name what protects you in that country and the date by which to act.
4Whether you keep the premises. What the law of the country says about transferring a lease and raising the rent. The lease itself we read in the €950 report, from the seller's papers.
5How many months you cannot trade at full strength. While the paperwork changes hands, part of the business stands still. Those months belong in the price.

Who checks your business, and how

Every check is shared out among a team of specialists. Each has a part of the analysis, so each part is read by a person who does only that.

After you order: your account

Everything about your check in one place.

Your account: Your request lives in your account: sign in with email and a password, or with Google or LinkedIn. The link in our answer email signs you straight in, once, within 8 days.
A case number: Your order has a number. It shows what we received and what we are working through.
Where your papers are kept: The papers you send are kept in Europe, under European data protection rules. They are erased no later than 90 days after the report.
Payment handled away from us: You pay by card, as in any online shop. The card number goes to the payment provider; we never see it and never store it.
