Before you talk to the seller. We do not contact the seller and we do not mention the order.
What you learn:
- What exactly you are buying: the company itself, or only the assets (equipment, stock, the lease). That decides which old debts can come with the purchase.
- Whether the permit to run the business must be applied for again. Sometimes it is issued to one person and does not pass to a new owner.
- Which old debts can come to you with the business: taxes, employee contributions owed to the state, unpaid wages.
- What the public records hold on the lease: term, whether it can be transferred, what is recorded about the rent when the owner changes. If there is no record, we say so.
- Which papers will have to be re-registered after the deal, and how long that usually takes in this country, from open sources.
- Debts and court cases; who is recorded as the owner; what is recorded about the equipment.
- The list of papers worth asking the seller for, and the questions to ask, word for word, in the language of the country of the business.
- A separate list: what to check on site and what to show a local lawyer. Included in the price.
What you do not learn: the truth about the takings comes with the €950 plan, where the seller's words are checked against his filed accounts.
What we need from you: the name or the sign, the town and country of the business, what it does, your email. No papers.
The report comes in one of six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian. We confirm the language before payment.
